Hookahville is an Ohio music festival institution celebrating its 11th year in 2005! Fall Hookahville was held on Saturday, September 3rd and Sunday September 4th (with early bird camping on Friday, September 2nd) at Frontier Ranch Music Center in Pataskala, Ohio. Hosted by the Columbus, Ohio group ekoostik hookah who headlined both nights, the music and camping event featured the talents of veterans of the improvisational music world, as well as some of the top younger talent the scene has to offer.

This year's lineup again crossed genre boundaries blending talents of roots music to bluegrass to good ole' rock-n-roll. Festival hosts ekoostik hookah closed out each night.

Frontier Ranch's Historic Bluegrass Stage, which in its heyday featured the old time sounds of Bill Monroe, Del McCoury, Earl Scruggs, Ralph Stanley, Allison Krauss and other bluegrass greats, featured late night music both nights following the main stage performances. Friday night Early Bird camping featured music by Mike Perkins (formerly of the Shantee) and the Maji.

Presale tickets for Hookahville were available for $70 in advance though August 21st, $80 through Ticketmaster from August 22nd to September 3rd at noon, and $90 at the gate. Sunday only tickets were available at the gate only for $55. Early bird camping was available beginning Friday at 4 p.m. for an additional $25 per person, with paid festival admission (plus $35 per RV - no fee for cars). Tickets include camping, parking and shows.

Hookahville has designated camping areas for the handicapped, families and those wishing a quiet camping area. Children 10 and under are admitted free, and the festival is an all ages event. Camping is included in the price of admission, with primitive camping services including bathrooms, medical staff and water. Vendors offer many different dining choices as well as a wide variety of merchandise. Several types of draft beer will be sold in the stage area for our guests over 21 years old.
