New Hampshire native Ed McGee was a longtime Ohio singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist, playing for nine years with əkoostik hookah and another five years with One Under before moving to Colorado in 2011.
In 2018, he released his first solo project album Alexander III and Other Stories featuring performances by hookah’s Steve Sweney, Ward Scott of The Shantee, Pat Kenney of One Under, and other carefully selected musician friends.
After relocating to beautiful Vermont last year, Ed recorded his second solo album, an acoustic collection of older, unrecorded favorites from his catalog. This album, as well as Alexander III…, will be available at Hookahville, where Ed will play a solo set as well as reunite with the əkoostik hookah “2.0” lineup.
Ed McGee continues to write and perform music in New England, and still travels regularly to the Midwest for performances, solo acoustic as well as full band.
